What is the best way for us to provide liquidity to our ICDex pairing?

The OAMM pooling feature is likely the simplest and easy to manage method for providing liquidity on ICDex. It's function is modeled to be very similar to a traditional AMM exchange and we have a video which breaks down this feature and guides you through its usage available [here](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GcCScBfRwZk).

What is the difference between pairing categories?

Listing on ICDex is an open and uncensored process so anyone can list a token on ICDex. You, the trader, bear all responsibility for assessing and valuing the tokens being traded on ICDex and accept responsibility for any consequences of these trades.

Pair Score is an automatic evaluation mechanism of ICDex for trading pairs, which is based on the comprehensive evaluation of the number of sponsors, liquidity, volume, etc. It is for your reference only, and is not considered as investment advice, endorsement, or a form of guarantee.

The list of trading pairs is divided into three boards according to the Pair Score but as always its important to note every asset carries risks and you’re advised to do your own due diligence before trading.

* “Main” (STAGE2): Pairings in the “Main” category should not only [meet the criteria outlined in our listing article](https://medium.com/@ICLighthouse/a-guide-to-listing-tokens-on-icdex-25e1efae1471), they also have a combination of strong user engagement (high trade volumes), high liquidity, and typically a high level of trust within the IC ecosystem.
* “Rising” (STAGE1): Pairs which make it into the “Rising” category have reasonable and consistent levels of trading activity and liquidity and are growing in trust and popularity in the ecosystem.
* “Higher Risk” (STAGE0): “High Risk” pairings are pairs where traders will likely want to proceed with higher levels of scrutiny and caution.

Pair Scoring & Upgrade/Downgrade Guidelines

**Score Calculation:**

*pair\_score = score1 + score2 + score3*

**score1 (max 70)**

* (Unverified Sponsor) ListingReferrer Propose: +10 per Sponsor.
* Verified ListingReferrer Propose: +15 per Sponsor.
* Sponsored (Sponsors >= 5): +10.

**score2 (max 20)**

* Set a score through DAO proposal. Typically, this is scored as 0. Only trading pairs of well-known or special contributing projects will have a score set by the proposal. For projects launched in SNS, it is recommended to set 5 to 20 points depending on the crowd sale capacity.

**score3**

* (pair\_vol\_token1\_usd / 10000 / max(years, 1)) ^ 0.5 / 2 + (pair\_liquidity\_token1\_usd / 10000) ^ 0.5 \* 2

**Upgrade rules**

* A new trading pair defaults to "Higher Risk" (STAGE0).
* Upgrade from STAGE0 to "Rising" (STAGE1): pair\_score >= 20.

How does the referral system work on ICDex?

The referral system aids in tracking user engagement with a specialized referral link. Through this tool you can help to gauge the effectiveness of a specific post or marketing campaign by seeing how many traders are interacting with your referral link.

Trading Ambassadors

An account who has completed at least one trade automatically qualify as a trading ambassador and can promote the pair by sharing the referral link.

**How to promote the pair to others:**

* You can go to the "Trading Ambassador" page of each trading pair to get a referral link in the top right of the pairing's price chart. From there you can share this link via your website, social media, etc. and track the activity generated from it.

***Note:***

* *Each promotion is only for one trading pair, the referral link is exclusive to the trading pair.*
* *Each trading account (referee) can submit one trading ambassador (referrer) to the contract. A referee must complete at least one trade for the setting to take effect.*

**Benefits of being a trading ambassador:**

The pair will count the number of accounts and the volume of trades from your promotion. It is possible for there to be reward programs hosted by projects or ICLighthouse as described on the "Trading Ambassadors" page of that trading pair.

***Note:** Not every trading pair will have a reward program as these programs are at the discretion of the teams involved.*

Sponsoring Trading Pairs

ICLighthouse [URANUS NFT](https://yuku.app/market/goncb-kqaaa-aaaap-aakpa-cai) holders, acting as listing referrers, play a pivotal role in influencing the Pair Score through sponsorships. The impact of sponsorship varies based on the status of the sponsor and the number of sponsors involved:

Unverified Listing Referrer Sponsor: Each sponsorship adds +10 to the Pair Score.

Verified Listing Referrer Sponsor: Each verified sponsorship contributes +15 to the Pair Score.

Group Sponsorship Bonus: If a trading pair is supported by 5 or more sponsors, it receives an additional +10 to its Pair Score.

Maximum Sponsorship Influence: The total score a pair can gain from sponsorships alone is capped at 70.

What is the listing fee for ICDex?

It costs 5,000 ICL to establish a trading pair on ICDex. Ideally, the funds allocated toward this fee are distributed to the treasury/burned as outlined in our [Whitepaper](https://iclight.house/whitepaper.pdf) on page 22.

30% allocated to the ICLighthouse DAO Risk Reserve, 10% to the Eco-Incentive Reserve, 10% to the Strategic Reserve, and the remaining 50% transferred to a burn address for destruction.

How can we set up external trading canisters for ICDex?

We recommend using ICDex-Trader(<https://github.com/iclighthouse/ICDex-Trader>) to integrate with ICDex, in simple terms ICDex-Trader allows you to set up a trader who only has access to place orders but not to transfer funds, which is ideal for organizations.
